Description
Export Feature add on Expense Claim - Transaction page and Color changes of machine ocpp logs
Updated by Yashaditya Singh about 2 months ago
I successfully implemented the CSV export functionality for the Employee Expenses page, including a confirmation modal that summarizes the total records and active filters before download. I ensured exported dates retain the strict DD MMM YYYY hh:mm am/pm IST format by building a custom client-side CSV parser and using zero-width spaces to prevent Excel from automatically reformatting the values. I also resolved a TypeScript type mismatch related to employee name display properties, resulting in a clean build. Additionally, I implemented the OCPP session log origin classification to distinguish machine-originated and server/user-admin-originated logs, added origin, originLabel, and originColor fields to the session log DTOs, and integrated the origin data for UI-based colour coding.

#3019 - Add OCPP message origin handling to session logs
- Introduced origin, originLabel, and originColor fields to OcppSessionLog interface for better classification of OCPP messages.
- Implemented logic to classify messages as originating from either MACHINE or SERVER in OcppDetailsModal component.
- Enhanced log display with color coding based on message origin.

I worked on the Employee Expenses export API and updated the CSV export functionality. The export continues to use the same filters and fetches all matching records without pagination, while the CSV now includes additional Ledger, Description, and Narration columns along with the existing transaction details.
