dashboard summary charging session new design
Description
dashboard summary charging session new design
Updated by Shreya Agarwal about 2 months ago
successfully integrated and refined the new Charging Sessions Summary design into the updated Dashboard v2 view, bringing full visual and functional alignment The entire implementation was carried out dynamically with zero hardcoding, ensuring all session metrics, percentages, and labels seamlessly reflect live API data while preserving all existing localization and translation hooks.
The top portion of the dashboard v2 section was updated with five primary metric cards representing overall session performance. Below these cards, a balanced two-column layout was established, featuring an interactive session distribution doughnut chart on the left and six detailed breakdown cards on the right. Informative tooltips and popovers were integrated across all cards to provide users with clear definitions of each session category, while card headers were styled to maintain clean, single-line typography across all screen sizes.
To optimize the donut chart visualization, the chart container and responsive bounds were fine-tuned. The donut graphic remains large and prominent, while the surrounding container width and margins were expanded to provide sufficient breathing room. This ensures outer percentage labels fit naturally within the card boundaries without getting clipped, overlapped, or forcing the chart graphic to shrink.
Finally, the detailed session list modal was fully polished for an intuitive user experience. Explicit column widths and single-line text constraints were applied across all table headers and data rows to prevent date formats and session details from wrapping unnaturally. Additionally, container scrolling was optimized so that the horizontal scrollbar stays pinned right above the pagination bar on the visible screen, enabling instant horizontal navigation across all columns from the very first row.
