Updated by Shreya Agarwal 14 days ago
Today I worked on redesigning and enhancing the Charging Sessions section of the dashboard, creating a comprehensive and visually appealing UI that displays session analytics data effectively. The work involved building three main components: Summary Cards, Session Distribution with Doughnut Chart, and Session Breakdown cards.
Work:
1. Summary Cards (Top Row)
corrected 4 summary cards displaying key session metrics: Total Sessions, Successful Sessions, Failed Sessions, and Multiple Attempts
Each card shows the metric name, value, and percentage breakdown (e.g., "54.8% of total")
Removed the Active Sessions card to streamline the top row
Removed duplicate "First Attempt Success" card from the top row to eliminate repetition
since it was already appearing in the breakdown section
2.Session Distribution Card (Left Side)
Built a pie chart visualization with 4 colored segments : Successful Sessions, Multiple Attempts, Failed Sessions, and Excluded
Added "Total" value display in the center of the doughnut showing the total session count
Created a color-coded legend on the right side showing:
Successful Sessions (Green) with value and percentage
Multiple Attempts (Orange) with value and percentage
Failed Sessions (Red) with value and percentage
Excluded (Gray) with value and percentage
Legend displays category name on top line and value with percentage below it
Fine-tuned spacing and alignment for better visual balance chart and legend
Adjusted card size and padding for optimal visual hierarchy
3. Session Breakdown Card (Right Side)
Designed 6 breakdown cards in a 2-row layout:
Row 1: 2 larger cards (First Attempt Success, Multiple Attempts)
Row 2: 4 smaller cards (Failed, Faulted, Not Worked, Excluded)
Each card displays the metric name, value, and percentage of total
Consistent color coding matching the session distribution chart
Different card sizes for better visual hierarchy: top row cards are larger, bottom row cards are compact
4. Layout Adjustments
Balanced the card sizes with Session Distribution at 40% width and Session Breakdown at 60% width
Adjusted padding and spacing throughout for optimal visual hierarchy
Increased gap between chart and legend for better readability
Balanced the card sizes with Session Distribution at 40% width and Session Breakdown at 60% width
Reduced overall card size of Session Distribution and increased Session Breakdown size as per design requirements
5. UI Consistency
Applied consistent color scheme across all cards
Ensured proper alignment and responsiveness

worked on improving the Session Distribution and Session Breakdown components in the dashboard. The main focus was on enhancing the UI and responsiveness of the Session Distribution pie chart and legend. I added percentage progress bars to all Session Breakdown cards (First Attempt Success, Multiple Attempts, Failed, Faulted, Not Worked, and Excluded) to provide better visual representation. I also added a new UNIQUE SESSIONS card in the Summary tab with proper icon and styling. Additionally, I improved the info icon UI across all cards, removing backgrounds and borders for a cleaner look, and made the icon sizes consistent. I worked on mobile responsiveness for the Session Distribution legends, making them display in 2 columns on mobile with proper alignment. However, I still need to fix the pie chart size and legend spacing for iPad Pro and other tablet devices - currently the pie chart appears too small and some percentage labels are getting cut off on iPad Pro. The desktop view remains perfect and unchanged. The responsive fixes for mobile are partially complete but the iPad Pro optimization is still pending and needs further adjustments to make the pie chart larger and properly align the legends.
Updated by Shreya Agarwal 10 days ago
iPad Pro (1024px-1050px) Responsive Fixes:
Fixed alignment issues on iPad Pro devices where the layout was breaking
Adjusted Session Distribution chart size to fit perfectly on iPad Pro screens
Optimized legend display to show in 2 columns with bullets aligned vertically (one below another) for better readability on tablet screens
2. Legend UI Improvements:
Reorganized legend items into 2 rows on iPad Pro for cleaner presentation
Reduced spacing between legend items to create a more compact and visually appealing layout
Maintained single-column legend display on desktop while optimizing for tablet viewports
Doughnut chart know looking perfect size .
3. Desktop Spacing Optimization:
Reduced unnecessary white space at the bottom of both Session Distribution and Session Breakdown cards
Ensured both cards now have consistent height and alignment on desktop view
Removed extra padding without affecting content size or readability
4. Session Distribution & Breakdown Alignment:
Achieved perfect alignment between Session Distribution and Session Breakdown sections
Both sections now display with consistent height and proper spacing on iPad Pro
Improved overall visual balance and user experience across all screen sizes
Also add in Dashboard v2 :
implemented the complete Charging Sessions module in Dashboard V2, mirroring the functionality and UI of Dashboard V1. Added 5 summary cards (Total, Successful, Failed, Multiple Attempts, Unique) with interactive modals, Session Distribution pie chart with responsive legends (2 columns on iPad Pro), and Session Breakdown with 6 detailed cards. Applied the same responsive improvements including desktop spacing optimization, iPad Pro alignment fixes, and info tooltips with popover support.
Updated by Shreya Agarwal 9 days ago
Updated the info icon and tooltip/popover UI for "Users Active (Period)" and "Total Active Users (All-Time)" cards to match the design pattern used in Charging Sessions cards, while maintaining the icon position and all functionality.
Changes Made
1. Icon Button Styling (Both Cards)
Removed background color and border from info icons and Changed hover effect to transparent (no background change) and Increased icon size
Added e.stopPropagation() to prevent event bubbling and Set padding: 0 for cleaner appearance and Position maintained: top: 10, right: 66 (unchanged)
2. Popover UI Redesign (Both Popovers)
Added gradient blue header with Info icon and title and Replaced "Close" button with gradient "Got It" button
Enhanced styling with rounded corners (borderRadius: 3)and Added improved shadow and border styling
Clean typography with proper spacing and line-height
also test the branches in which I worked Before moving the changes to production, I thoroughly tested the code on the dev branch after the merge. The following validations were performed and All tests passed successfully on dev environment. The changes ready for production deployment
and learning some concept on frontend and backend
